Seesaw Battle Sees Lazio and Hellas Verona Game End In A Tie

For SS Lazio and Hellas Veronas, the only thing that they have to play for is a spot for the Europa League. Nevertheless, we were expecting to see a great matchup between the two teams and that is exactly what we got. The game was very open from the start where it looked as if there could be a strike from any team at any time. In the 30TH minute of the game you watched a play unfold that you just knew right from the start that there was going to be a goal and sure enough on the counter attack there was. The ball would ultimately find the foot of Spanish international Keita Baldé Diao who didn't miss the back of th enet for the very first goal of the game. Well seven minutes later, Hellas Verona would end up tying the game after Icelandic international Emil Hallfreðsson was able to manage a pass to Marquinho who rocketed it past the goalkeeper for the equalizer. Both of the teams would go into halftime tied up at one.

In the second half, the theme of one team getting a go ahead goal followed by an equalizer would continue as both teams were fighting for an advantage. In the 60TH minute, Lazio tried the give and go near the box which would fail ,but Senad Lulić would get his own pass and he beats Rafael for the second Lazio goal. Then nine minutes later, Hellas Verona would get the equalizer after Jacopo Sala was able to pick out the fast Juan Iturbe who rockets it past the Lazio goalkeeper for the equalizer. In the 83RD minute of play, Hellas Verona were the ones who would go out in front on the scoreboard when Hallfreðsson crossed the ball into the box that Luca Toni missed, but Rômulo was waiting in the wings as he essentially scored on an open net. Then in the 92ND minute, the referee would award Lazio a chance to equalize after he unfairly gave Albertazzi Michelangelo a red card for a foul he didn't commit. Miroslav Klose in my opinion went down way too easily, but nevertheless Stefano Mauri was there to take the shot. Mauri would shoot the ball right to the goalkeeper, but he would get his rebound and he didn't miss the back of the net as the game ended tied at 3.
